Specifying the contribution of the technological means to the reading and writing activity of individuals with visual deficiency, both for blind people and for people with limited vision is the aim considered by this study that also tries to clarify the posibilities of the new telematic steps forward in written communication, commiting decisively to the use of the computer as a resource, with its corresponding adaptations both in hardware and in software.
