The role of gender is very important in popular songs. The authors in this paper have chosen several songs where we can see the significance of the role that men and women have nowdays in the society. The author analyses the lyrics of the songs, classifies the verbs, nouns and adjectives and studies their relationship with the social roles of men and women.
