Abstract

The effective recognition of an intercultural social framework in a democratic society can be achieved through the use of mass media in the teaching and learning process. Thus taking advantage of both new technologies and mass media in the ESO classroom makes it a good opportunity to understand the complexity of our cultural reality. This is a challenge for public education as it strengthens some values which contribute to the construction of an intercultural citizenship. Therefore we have organized this paper respecting an equilibrium between theory and its practical application, taking into account when he says that the great difficulty in education consists in the effective realization of ideas in the classroom.
