Subtitled films and the deaf people community

This paper reflects on the subtitled movies and the deaf community. It invites to think about the need for appropiate subtitles, adapted to the particular characteristics of each deaf person, since new technologies make it possible. The reflection goes on with the convenience of adapted or traditional subtitles.
