Abstract

The celebration of the european year for disabled people has been useful to claim again that it is necessary a society which seeks for an integrated world where everybody could access all social facilities. New technologies can be an excelent means to reach this comprehensive society, but this new information society can also be built excluding disabled people. Discrimination arises from different points: means unfitness, objective and subjective frontiers, lack of resources, lack of motivation... In all these cases, the Internet can be a means where they could feel at ease and also an open action space.
