Dominated television: some limitations from TV in education and arguments for television competence

Abstract

La importancia de la TV como fenómeno social justifica la atención que se le ha dedicado y se le dedica, hecho que en lugar de disminuir se ha ido acrecentando cada día más. Es lógico que sea así, pues cualquier idea que contribuya a que conozcamos mejor la TV, que ayude a mejorarla, a utilizarla más racionalmente, merece la bienvenida: cuanto más importante es una cosa y mayor es su trascendencia social, tanto más tenemos que procurar que esté ordenada rectamente según la razón, y no según otro tipo de intereses que seguro en un medio como éste siempre están aflorando. The importance of the TV as social phenomenon justifies the attention that is being dedicated to it. This produces that every idea that can do that we know better aboutthe TV, that help to put it better, to use it more rationally, will bewelcome; how much more important is one thing and bigger is its social consequence, so much we have to try that it will be in order through the reason, and not of another kind of interests than it’s sure that in a media as this one, are appearing always..
