Quality cinema: literacy reading strategies through television
Keywords:
Audiovisual literacy, cinema and television, new pedagogical strategiesAbstract
Facing the new realities and social challenges that experience the different groups involved at the educational spaces (i.e. students, teachers, administrators, parents), the need to create pedagogical strategies that allow the establishment of a complex network of thinking to provide the content and the means in order to read them and most importantly, to act upon them become urgent. This would be a network that cross over and articulate a set of new socially pertinent proposals which helps to strengthen the educational foundation of learning to live together. Edgar Morin says that cinema offers what “is invisible for human sciences”, it gives us the possibility to know the human being: its existencial, subjective and affective features; experiences, passions, love, hate, commitments, pain, joy and rave among others..
