Abstract
El sistema educativo STEAM se está incorporando en diferentes países principalmente para desarrollar la creatividad y la capacidad de resolución de problemas entre los estudiantes. Este estudio se ha centrado en mantener la igualdad regional y la integración interdisciplinar de las artes y las ciencias a través de la investigación de la creatividad en los sistemas educativos STEAM. Para este estudio, se recogieron datos cualitativos de 12 profesores de ciencias que trabajan en diferentes bachilleratos chinos. Se utilizó el análisis temático para analizar las transcripciones de las entrevistas recogidas. Se formularon cuatro temas importantes que incluyen (a) Sistema educativo STEAM, (b) Creatividad en el sistema educativo STEAM, (c) Problemas del sistema educativo STEAM y (d) Recomendaciones para el sistema educativo STEAM. Los resultados obtenidos en este estudio muestran que el sistema educativo STEAM ayuda a fomentar el compromiso de los estudiantes, tras la integración interdisciplinar de las artes y las ciencias. Sin embargo, la desigualdad regional en China impide la accesibilidad efectiva y la calidad de la educación STEAM en las regiones rurales del país, haciendo hincapié en el desarrollo y la aplicación de políticas educativas y regionales eficaces. Este estudio también ha aportado diferentes implicaciones prácticas y teóricas en el contexto de los sistemas educativos STEAM
